Pete Carroll wows the crowd!!
USC head football coach Pete Carroll wowed the enthusiastic crowd at the 2007 SLR Trojans fund raising event with his upbeat message and youthful energy. Coach Pete discussed the importance of education and youth football and recounted his own experiences as both a youth football player and coach. The crowd was treated to an opportunity to participate in a Question & Answer segment with Coach Carroll and they were entertained by the "Spirit of Troy", the USC Marching Band ensemble and the USC Song Girls! The US Navy Color Guard from Camp Pendleton presented the colors and Oceanside Mayor Jim Wood and the Marine Corps MSOB unit each presented Coach Carroll with awards for his taking time to help our children.
Coach Pete stayed to sign
every autograph and to speak
with every attendee. The entire
event was a great success and
came off with class and pride.
